People spotlight: Gyne Senoy

Tell us about yourself and your current role.

Hi, I’m Gyne, Assistant Finance Manager at Macro. I have a wonderful daughter, Maria Isabella, who will be turning one this July. I’ve been living and working in Dubai for nearly nine years. For the past five years, I’ve been with Macro as a Finance Business Partner, currently managing two key projects: Baker Hughes across the UAE and KSA, and the National Museum of Oman.

What do you like about Macro?

Macro’s commitment to employee well-being and work-life balance is something I truly value. The flexible hours and the option to work from home have been especially helpful as a new mom. The company fosters a supportive and collaborative culture that encourages growth and teamwork, making it a great place to work.

What do you enjoy most about your current role at Macro?

What I enjoy most is the variety and challenge of the projects I work on. Managing operations across the UAE, KSA, and Oman has deepened my industry knowledge and experience. I take pride in providing essential financial support to our supply chain and operations teams, and in delivering timely, accurate reporting to management and clients. Knowing that my work contributes to our overall success gives me a strong sense of accomplishment.

What motivates you every day?

My biggest motivation is my family, especially my daughter, Maria Isabella. I want to provide her with a good life and be a strong role model. Professionally, I’m driven by the challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. Successfully managing projects and achieving meaningful results keeps me focused and inspired.

What has been the biggest challenge in getting where you are today?

Balancing my career and personal life, especially after becoming a mother has been my greatest challenge. Juggling demanding projects while being present for my daughter takes dedication and careful time management. Thankfully, the flexibility at Macro and the support of my family have helped me find a balance that works.
