Celebrating diversity: The Launch of Macro’s 2025 EDI campaign ‘This is Me’
We’re excited to introduce This is Me, Macro’s 2025 EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) campaign, which is all about making sure every colleague feels not just like they fit in, but that they belong.
What is This is Me?
At Macro, we want to create a workplace where everyone feels safe to bring their whole selves to work. We recognise that every individual has different needs, and that’s why This is Me is more than just a campaign – it’s a commitment to understanding and supporting those needs, both professionally and personally.
This initiative helps us identify and acknowledge individual needs that may impact our work-life experience. It’s about being proactive, learning from one another, and creating a supportive space that encourages growth and productivity.
An impactful launch event
On Thursday 27 February 2025, 180 employees from around the globe joined a special This is Me session. We were honoured to hear powerful stories from six colleagues who shared their personal experiences, shedding light on what it’s like to navigate the workplace with unique needs and perspectives.
Four of the storytellers presented live, while two others shared their stories via pre-recorded videos, ensuring the event was accessible to everyone, no matter their needs. It was an inspiring, emotional, and impactful moment for all involved.
How we’re supporting our colleagues
To make this possible, This is Me provides a tool in the form of a simple summary form. This tool allows colleagues to share how we can best support them in the workplace, whether it’s regarding communication styles, adjustments to their role, or balancing their work-life commitments. We’re asking questions including:
By providing this space for individuals to share their needs, we are not only promoting inclusivity, but we’re also building a culture that values and understands the diverse experiences and backgrounds of every person at Macro.
Looking ahead: What’s next?
As we move forward with This is Me, we’ll continue to build on this foundation. We’ll be working with teams to ensure that the tools and resources provided are being used effectively.
From here we’re creating a global SteerCo who will drive the campaign forward, we’ll be using global milestones and celebration days to raise awareness for topics ranging from neurodiversity, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, accessibility, Pride and working families.
Celebrating gender balance
To mark International Women’s Day 2025, we’re proud to reflect on gender balance at Macro.

We’re moving with other processes too, such as leveraging AI in the recruitment process to mitigate unconscious bias, ensuring that hiring decisions are based on merit rather than any preconceived notions”.
